same issue here. This message pops up in the web browser when you try to click the "Log In" button in the plugin.

Don't download the repo, download the release. It has the client_id compiled into it...

From my tests, The only way to get it to work ATM is to use the release version, and manually create the album first at google photos site (same exact name) and then publish. It's a bit annoying, as google doesn't let you create an empty album (you need to select at least one photo and then remove it after you publish). A version that works including new albums would be appreciated asap, thanks:)
