tmux copy past in osx

currently copy and pasting in tmux is done like so https://awhan.wordpress.com/2010/06/20/copy-paste-in-tmux/
that's cool but the text isn't copied into the mac clipboard so you can't paste outside of tmux.
Any thoughts on integrating something like this? http://robots.thoughtbot.com/tmux-copy-paste-on-os-x-a-better-future I'm thinking about setting this up on my own machine but figured I'd ask if there is already a way to copy/paste from tmux I overlooked. If there's interest I may put together a pull request.
We already use exactly that configuration.
