Thanks! this is exactly what I was looking for.

It would be great if it could connect to an ax25 port (like axlisten) rather than a IP KISS TNC.

Github didn't inform me about this comment :) I'll see how i can implement this but first i'll end migration to Python3 and put some new stuff because this code is now outdated.
