It is not clear why the title field is string and the isDone is boolean.
In previous version of SC we used to create model with specific attribute types, why has that changed?

You're not actually defining an SC.Record in the HTML-based tutorial, because the datastore isn't available in core_foundation. You can require the datastore framework in your Buildfile and continue to define SC.Records the same way you always have been able to
