👋 Hello!

Thank you for attending my xaringan workshops and/or for stopping by and looking through this repo 😃

Please feel free to use this issue as a place to drop questions about making slides in R Markdown with xaringan, making them extra with xaringanExtra or customizing them with CSS.

Hi Silvia,

I’ve just finished my first Xaringan presentation based on the tips and guidelines you shared in your two workshop videos. Thanks a lot for updating the “nhsr-example-slides” file and for the tip about the new ‘icon’ package repository (https://github.com/mitchelloharawild/icons#a-note-on-the-old-api). It’s been very exciting and stimulating getting to know about all the multiple possibilities offered by the “r and r-markdown” universe.

All the best!

Arlindo

Hi Arlindo!

Thanks so much for this kind message -- it makes me so happy to hear the workshop helped you create your first xaringan presentation!!
It's also great to know that you are feeling so excited about learning what is possible with R and R Markdown 😃

I ran out of time during the workshop to properly teach how to deploy slides to the web, but I recently wrote a blog post that covers this in a step-by-step format. I'll link here in case it's helpful to you: https://silvia.rbind.io/2021-03-16-deploying-xaringan-slides/
