Can you attach a license? I am planning to use it for my personal purpose as well as in a company. I plan to contribute the changes back as well.

.X is a deprecated file format, so we should be able to get this complete :P

@Swoorup If you have changes, PLEASE fork and submit pull request. My fork, based on limemidolin's could really use some help. Many public licensed game art is still in x format. Just so you know, even if you can't redistribute it due to the lack of license, it falls under the GitHub ToS meaning: If you fork then paste in your changes, you are allowed to redistribute it from GitHub (so your program could download the component automatically for the user, regardless of lack of an upstream license). The community could really use your help in this way. Please respond.

:edit: @Swoorup The license is the GNU General Public License v3.
Although the original repo did not have a license file, the plugin is also at Blender's svn and git repos, and therefore under the GPL as required by Blender Foundation for all add-ons. Any public licensed code cannot later be limited to a more restrictive license, so adding a GPL v3 license to this repo is ok.
