The website is currently down, so what's up here?
Could not it e.g. be hosted at GitHub Pages which should easily stay up, at least? To have somewhat of a stable resource?
I guess the short answer is I've moved on from maintaining a lot of old projects including this one. I left this in cold-fusion and the site up but I think the domain expired months ago and I hadn't noticed which is why it is down.
It seems that other people are interested and other people are interested in maintaining this resource.
FYI, it seems computefreely.org has been taken over by some SEO-spam that mimics the original and still uses @snwh's name.

@snwh Just noticed what happened to the site... I would be interested in maintaining it if you are unable to. I can keep it under a subdomain temporarily and think about possibly renaming if the domain can't be reclaimed. Compute Freely was a great resource for me, and I'd love to keep it alive.
If you would like to fork and maintain the site by all means, I don't have the time or interest in doing so these days.
