Elementary OS 6 was released. Now it can be considered as an intermediate.
In terms of design, elementary OS remains very beautiful and cohesive. But now it doesn't fit with beginner user.
Some points that can be considered:
- The AppCenter software store is almost empty.
- The video and music apps don't have multimedia codecs, nor does it offer an option to install them.
- The installer does not offer an option to install elementary OS alongside Windows. This has to be done manually.
- To install .Deb packages like Google Chrome, for example, you need to install Eddy or use the terminal.
I'm going to close this issue because I think the elementary 6 release is going through a transaction and things will be resolved soon.
