'CrossFingerprint' does not contain a definition for 'SetCurrentActivityResolver'

I am trying to implement plugin.fingerprint in .net MAUI. and when i am trying to publish the application the application wont build
I can see the following Error.
Error CS0117 'CrossFingerprint' does not contain a definition for 'SetCurrentActivityResolver'

Steps to reproduce

1. Create .net MAUI application

2. setup plugin.fingerprint

3. publish

Expected behavior

Application should build and the packages should be created

Actual behavior

Build fails.
