Ext4: does libtsk support the meta_bg feature?

I have a storage media image of an ext4 file system with meta_bg enabled. fls is able to read part of the file system and then appears to get stuck. Has libtsk support for the meta_bg feature?

s_first_meta_bg is defined in the superblock but does not appear to be used elsewhere?

If not why does libtsk not error trying to read a file system with an incompatible feature?
