Ruby 2.3.5 compatibility

Hey there, would you consider relaxing the ruby version dependency? Not really sure why 2.4 is required.
Pretty sure I used some syntax constructs available on 2.4+ sorry, although if you can prove it works I can relax the requirement.
I'm going to close this due to lack of activity.
