It's not currently possible to browse chats while a call is in progress.
Pressing the "back" button ends the call.
It's very common to want to access the chat while in a call, for example "I just sent you the project plans, I'll call you and we'll discuss".
Need of a shortcut in the dial screen (during the call).
Would like to see this as well. And would like to be able to switch to another app on the device during a call.
since v5.6.0 you can now use the app during a call :)
