We need to address
- styles of the elements when they are editable, selected, hover, dragging, dropzone, resizing
- styles of the "drawing" selection rectangle
Styles could be color, border, shadow, alpha, cursor...

I think the best would be if we can just see how others are doing this, for example Webflow.. My idea about three modes is exactly what Webflow had at that moment..
