Axis.X ticks are seldom shown

For 1440 X values (60 minutes * 24 hours) in the graph the X ticks are not drawn at all unless the width of the graph is at least 1332 pixels. Even then there's just one tick at 18:00 (6p.m.). Increasing graph width does not help, there's still only one tick at 18:00.

I would expect ticks at say 6:00, 12:00 and 18:00 regardless of graph width.

Want to provide an example? Then we can go about working on a fix for this, which can use the example as a test.
