Merge files .org files persists

What's this issue all about?
After at merge, the .org etc. files lingers.
Expected Behaviour
They should be cleared out.
Actual Behaviour
Files persists.
Steps To Reproduce
Perform a simple merge
Software Info
VSCode version - v.
Version: 1.38.1 (user setup)
GitMerger version - v.
0.4.1
Operating System - (including version if provided)
