ਜੋ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਤਾ ਆਪਣਾ ॥ ਤਿਨਹਿ ਗੁਸਾਈ ਜਾਪਣਾ ॥	He alone meditates on the Lord of the World, whom the Lord has made His Own.
ਸੁਣਿ ਸੁਣਿ ਬੂਝੈ ਮਾਨੈ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ॥	I am forever a sacrifice to the one who listens and hears, who understands and believes in the Name.
ਸੰਤ ਜਨਾ ਸਿਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ਬਨਿ ਆਈ ॥ ਜਿਨ ਕਉ ਲਿਖਤੁ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਧੁਰਿ ਪਾਈ ॥	Those who are blessed with such pre-ordained destiny are in love with the humble Saints.
ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਰਵਿ ਰਹਿਆ ਬਨਵਾਰੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਆਪੇ ਤਪੁ ਤਾਪੈ ਲਾਇ ਤਾਰੀ ॥੧॥	The Lord Himself practices tapa - intense self-disciplined meditation; He is deeply absorbed in His primal trance. ||1||
ਜਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਹੋਏ ਆਪਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਸਤਿਗੁਰ ਸਦਾ ਦਇਆਲ ॥੪॥੫॥੭੪॥	O Nanak, the True Guru is always kind and compassionate, unto those whom the Lord Himself has blessed with His Mercy. ||4||5||74||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਸੁ ਭਏ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਲ ॥ ਗੁਰਿ ਪੂਰੈ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਟੇ ਜਾਲ ॥੪॥੧੩॥੮੨॥	Says Nanak, the Perfect Guru has cut away the noose from those, unto whom the Lord has shown His Mercy. ||4||13||82||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਧੂਰਿ ਸੰਤ ਪਾਈ ॥ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਨਿਕਟਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਮਾਈ ॥੫॥੧੯॥੮੮॥	Says Nanak, Maya does not draw near those who have obtained the dust of the feet of the Saints. ||5||19||88||
ਜੀਉ ਪ੍ਰਾਣ ਜਿਨਿ ਮਨੁ ਤਨੁ ਧਾਰਿਆ ॥ ਸੋਈ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮਨਹੁ ਬਿਸਾਰਿਆ ॥੩॥	Within their minds, they have forgotten that Lord and Master, who created the soul, breath of life, mind and body. ||3||
ਜਿਸਹਿ ਪਰਾਪਤਿ ਹਰਿ ਚਰਣ ਨਿਧਾਨ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਦਾਸ ਤਿਸਹਿ ਕੁਰਬਾਨ ॥੪॥੯੫॥੧੬੪॥	Slave Nanak is a sacrifice to those who have obtained the treasure of the Lord's Feet. ||4||95||164||
ਬਲ ਬੁਧਿ ਸਿਆਨਪ ਹਉਮੈ ਰਹੀ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਸਾਧ ਸਰਣਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਗਹੀ ॥੪॥੬॥੧੪੪॥	Nanak has taken to the Sanctuary of the Lord's Holy Saints; he has given up power, wisdom, cleverness and egotism. ||4||6||144||
ਪੜਿ ਪੜਿ ਪੋਥੀ ਸਿੰਮ੍ਰਿਤਿ ਪਾਠਾ ॥ ਬੇਦ ਪੁਰਾਣ ਪੜੈ ਸੁਣਿ ਥਾਟਾ ॥	You may read, recite and study the scriptures, the Simritees, Vedas and Puraanas;
ਹਿਰਦੈ ਸਾਚੁ ਵਸੈ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਇ ॥ ਕਾਲੁ ਨ ਜੋਹਿ ਸਕੈ ਗੁਣ ਗਾਇ ॥	Death cannot touch those whose hearts are filled with the True Name of the Lord, and who sing the Glories of God.
ਆਦਿ ਮਧਿ ਜੋ ਅੰਤਿ ਨਿਬਾਹੈ ॥ ਸੋ ਸਾਜਨੁ ਮੇਰਾ ਮਨੁ ਚਾਹੈ ॥੧॥	My mind longs for that Friend, who shall stand by me in the beginning, in the middle and in the end. ||1||
ਧਾਰਹੁ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸਹਿ ਗੁਸਾਈ ॥ ਇਤ ਉਤ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਿਸੁ ਬਿਸਰਹੁ ਨਾਹੀ ॥੬॥	O Nanak, those upon whom the Lord showers His Mercy, do not forget Him, here or hereafter. ||6||
ਯਯਾ ਜਨਮਿ ਨ ਆਵੈ ਸੋਊ ॥ ਏਕ ਨਾਮ ਲੇ ਮਨਹਿ ਪਰੋਊ ॥	Yaya: One who weaves the One Name into his heart, does not have to take birth again.
ਚਚਾ ਚਰਨ ਕਮਲ ਗੁਰ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ ਧਨਿ ਧਨਿ ਉਆ ਦਿਨ ਸੰਜੋਗ ਸਭਾਗਾ ॥	CHACHA: Blessed, blessed is that day, when I became attached to the Lord's Lotus Feet.
ਠਠਾ ਮਨੂਆ ਠਾਹਹਿ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ ਜੋ ਸਗਲ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਏਕਹਿ ਲਪਟਾਹੀ ॥	T'HAT'HA: Those who have abandoned all else, and who cling to the One Lord alone, do not make trouble for anyone's mind.
ਨੰਨਾ ਨਰਕਿ ਪਰਹਿ ਤੇ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਤਨਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਬਸਾਹੀ ॥	NANNA: Those whose minds and bodies are filled with the Naam, the Name of the Lord, shall not fall into hell.
ਨੰਨਾਕਾਰੁ ਨ ਹੋਤਾ ਤਾ ਕਹੁ ॥ ਨਾਮੁ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨੋ ਜਾ ਕਹੁ ॥	Those who have been given the Mantra of the Naam by the Guru, shall not be turned away.
ਵਰਨ ਚਿਹਨ ਸਗਲਹ ਤੇ ਰਹਤਾ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਰਿ ਹਰਿ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਜੋ ਕਹਤਾ ॥੪੬॥	O Nanak, one who becomes Gurmukh chants the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and rises above all social classes and status symbols. ||46||
ਹਿਤ ਕਰਿ ਨਾਮ ਦ੍ਰਿੜੈ ਦਇਆਲਾ ॥ ਸੰਤਹ ਸੰਗਿ ਹੋਤ ਕਿਰਪਾਲਾ ॥	He becomes kind to those who lovingly enshrine the Name of the Merciful Lord within their hearts, in the Society of the Saints.
ਉਸੁ ਪੁਰਖ ਕਾ ਨਾਹੀ ਕਦੇ ਬਿਨਾਸ ॥ ਜਾ ਕੈ ਮਨਿ ਪ੍ਰਗਟੇ ਗੁਨਤਾਸ ॥	That person whose mind is illuminated by the treasure of excellence, never dies.
ਇਹ ਫਲ ਤਿਸੁ ਜਨ ਕੈ ਮੁਖਿ ਭਨੇ ॥ ਗੁਰ ਨਾਨਕ ਨਾਮ ਬਚਨ ਮਨਿ ਸੁਨੇ ॥੬॥	- these blessings come to one who, through Guru Nanak, chants the Naam with his mouth, and hears the Word with his ears. ||6||
ਟੂਟੇ ਬੰਧਨ ਬਹੁ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਸਫਲ ਪੂਰਨ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਕਾਮ ॥ ਦੁਰਮਤਿ ਮਿਟੀ ਹਉਮੈ ਛੁਟੀ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਹਰਿ ਕੋ ਨਾਮ ॥	One who meditates in remembrance on the Name of the Lord - his bonds are broken, all his sins are erased, and his works are brought to perfect fruition; his evil-mindedness disappears, and his ego is subdued.
ਕਹੁ ਕਬੀਰ ਜੈਸੇ ਸੁੰਦਰ ਸਰੂਪ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਬਿਨਾ ਜੈਸੇ ਕੁਬਜ ਕੁਰੂਪ ॥੩॥੨੫॥	Says Kabeer, without the Naam, the Name of the Lord, beautiful and handsome people are just ugly hunch-backs. ||3||25||
ਜੋ ਜਨ ਲੇਹਿ ਖਸਮ ਕਾ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਸਦ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਜਾਉ ॥੧॥	I am forever a sacrifice to those humble beings who take the Name of their Lord and Master. ||1||
ਜਿਹ ਘਟ ਰਾਮੁ ਰਹਿਆ ਭਰਪੂਰਿ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਕੀ ਪਗ ਪੰਕਜ ਹਮ ਧੂਰਿ ॥੨॥	I am the dust of the lotus feet of those whose hearts are filled with the All-pervading Lord. ||2||
ਕਹਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਭਲੇ ਅਸਵਾਰਾ ॥ ਬੇਦ ਕਤੇਬ ਤੇ ਰਹਹਿ ਨਿਰਾਰਾ ॥੩॥੩੧॥	Says Kabeer, those who remain detached from the Vedas, the Koran and the Bible are the best riders. ||3||31||
ਰਾਮ ਜਪਉ ਜੀਅ ਐਸੇ ਐਸੇ ॥ ਧ੍ਰੂ ਪ੍ਰਹਿਲਾਦ ਜਪਿਓ ਹਰਿ ਜੈਸੇ ॥੧॥	Just as Dhroo and Prahlaad meditated on the Lord, so should you meditate on the Lord, O my soul. ||1||
ਸਾਚੇ ਨਾਮ ਕੀ ਤਿਲੁ ਵਡਿਆਈ ॥ ਆਖਿ ਥਕੇ ਕੀਮਤਿ ਨਹੀ ਪਾਈ ॥	People have grown weary of trying to appraise the greatness of the True Name, but they have not been able to appraise even an iota of it.
ਅਹਿਨਿਸਿ ਭਗਤਿ ਕਰੇ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਇ ॥ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਿਨ ਕੈ ਲਾਗੈ ਪਾਇ ॥੪॥੧੨॥	Nanak falls at the feet of that person who immerses himself in the Lord's Love, and performs devotional worship night and day. ||4||12||
ਕਹਹਿ ਸੁਣਹਿ ਜੋ ਮਾਨਹਿ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਹਉ ਬਲਿਹਾਰੈ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਜਾਉ ॥	I am a sacrifice to those who chant, hear and believe in the Name.
ਸਾਚੁ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦਿ ਵੀਚਾਰਿ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਸਾਚੇ ਸਾਚੈ ਦਰਬਾਰਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥	Through the Word of the Guru's Shabad, the Gurmukh reflects upon the True Name; in the True Court, he is found to be true. ||1||Pause||
ਬਤੀਹ ਸੁਲਖਣੀ ਸਚੁ ਸੰਤਤਿ ਪੂਤ ॥ ਆਗਿਆਕਾਰੀ ਸੁਘੜ ਸਰੂਪ ॥	She is blessed with all sublime attributes, and her generations are unblemished.
ਮਹਾ ਅਗਾਹ ਅਗਨਿ ਕਾ ਸਾਗਰੁ ॥ ਗੁਰੁ ਬੋਹਿਥੁ ਤਾਰੇ ਰਤਨਾਗਰੁ ॥੨॥	The Guru is the boat to cross over the totally unfathomable ocean of fire; He is treasure of jewels. ||2||
ਆਤਮਾ ਬਾਸੁਦੇਵਸੵਿ ਜੇ ਕੋ ਜਾਣੈ ਭੇਉ ॥ ਨਾਨਕੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਦਾਸੁ ਹੈ ਸੋਈ ਨਿਰੰਜਨ ਦੇਉ ॥੪॥	Nanak is a slave to anyone who understands this mystery of the all-pervading Lord; he himself is the Immaculate Divine Lord. ||4||
ਬਾਪਿ ਦਿਲਾਸਾ ਮੇਰੋ ਕੀਨੑਾ ॥ ਸੇਜ ਸੁਖਾਲੀ ਮੁਖਿ ਅੰਮ੍ਰਿਤੁ ਦੀਨੑਾ ॥	My Father has comforted me. He has given me a cozy bed, and placed His Ambrosial Nectar in my mouth.
ਕਥਨੀ ਬਦਨੀ ਕਹਨੁ ਕਹਾਵਨੁ ॥ ਸਮਝਿ ਪਰੀ ਤਉ ਬਿਸਰਿਓ ਗਾਵਨੁ ॥੩॥	When one comes to understand, he forgets his preaching, ranting and raving, and arguing. ||3||
ਕਹਤ ਕਬੀਰ ਪੰਚ ਜੋ ਚੂਰੇ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਤੇ ਨਾਹਿ ਪਰਮ ਪਦੁ ਦੂਰੇ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੧॥	Says Kabeer, the state of supreme dignity is never far from those who conquer the five demons of the body passions. ||4||2||11||
ਸੰਤ ਚੀ ਸੰਗਤਿ ਸੰਤ ਕਥਾ ਰਸੁ ॥ ਸੰਤ ਪ੍ਰੇਮ ਮਾਝੈ ਦੀਜੈ ਦੇਵਾ ਦੇਵ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥	O Lord, God of gods, grant me the Society of the Saints, the sublime essence of the Saints' conversation, and the Love of the Saints. ||1||Pause||
ਸਹੀ ਸਲਾਮਤਿ ਨਾਇ ਆਏ ॥ ਅਪਣਾ ਪ੍ਰਭੂ ਧਿਆਏ ॥੨॥	Whoever comes and bathes here, and meditates on his God, is safe and sound. ||2||
ਜਿਤੁ ਪਾਰਬ੍ਰਹਮੁ ਚਿਤਿ ਆਇਆ ॥ ਸੋ ਘਰੁ ਦਯਿ ਵਸਾਇਆ ॥	The Supreme Lord God has established that home, in which He comes to mind.
ਕਿਤੈ ਪ੍ਰਕਾਰਿ ਨ ਤੂਟਉ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਿ ॥ ਦਾਸ ਤੇਰੇ ਕੀ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਰੀਤਿ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥	The lifestyle of Your slave is so pure, that nothing can break his love for You. ||1||Pause||
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਸੋ ਭਰਮੈ ਨਾਹੀ ॥ ਪਗ ਲਗਿ ਰਾਮ ਰਹੈ ਸਰਨਾਂਹੀ ॥੪॥੧॥	Says Kabeer, one who falls at the Lord's feet, and remains in His Sanctuary, does not wander around lost. ||4||1||
ਕਹੁ ਨਾਨਕ ਜਿਨਿ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਪਾਇਆ ॥ ਸਭੁ ਕਿਛੁ ਤਿਸ ਕੇ ਗ੍ਰਿਹ ਮਹਿ ਆਇਆ ॥੪॥੨॥੧੭॥	Says Nanak, everything comes to the homes of those who have found their Lord and Master. ||4||2||17||
ਜਿਨ ਹਰਿ ਨਾਮਾ ਹਰਿ ਚੇਤਿਆ ਹਿਰਦੈ ਉਰਿ ਧਾਰੇ ॥ ਤਿਨ ਜਮੁ ਨੇੜਿ ਨ ਆਵਈ ਗੁਰਸਿਖ ਗੁਰ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥੧੪॥	The Messenger of Death does not even approach those who contemplate the Name of the Lord, Har, Har, and keep Him enshrined in their hearts. The Guru's Sikhs are the Guru's Beloveds. ||14||
ਮੇਰੇ ਮਨ ਅਗਮ ਅਗੋਚਰ ॥ ਕਤ ਪਾਈਐ ਪੂਰਨ ਪਰਮੇਸਰ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥	O my mind, how can the Unapproachable and Incomprehensible Lord be found? He is the Perfect Transcendent Lord. ||1||Pause||
ਅੰਤਰਿ ਰਤਨੁ ਬੀਚਾਰੇ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਨਾਮੁ ਪਿਆਰੇ ॥	The Gurmukh loves the Name of the Lord; deep within, she contemplates the jewel of the Naam.
ਸਾਧਸੰਗਿ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਹਰਿ ਰੰਗੁ ਲਾਗਾ ॥ ਧਨੁ ਧਨੁ ਸੋ ਜਨੁ ਪੁਰਖੁ ਸਭਾਗਾ ॥	Blessed, blessed is the most fortunate servant of the Lord, who is imbued with the Lord's Love, in the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy.
ਤਿਨੑ ਨਾਹਿ ਨਰਕ ਨਿਵਾਸੁ ॥ ਨਿਤ ਸਿਮਰਿ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਗੁਣਤਾਸੁ ॥	Those who constantly remember God, the treasure of virtue, will never go to hell.
ਤੇ ਜਮੁ ਨ ਪੇਖਹਿ ਨੈਨ ॥ ਸੁਨਿ ਮੋਹੇ ਅਨਹਤ ਬੈਨ ॥੫॥	Those who listen, fascinated, to the Unstruck Sound-Current of the Word, will never have to see the Messenger of Death with their eyes. ||5||
ਨਾਉ ਨਉਮੀ ਨਵੇ ਨਾਥ ਨਵ ਖੰਡਾ ॥ ਘਟਿ ਘਟਿ ਨਾਥੁ ਮਹਾ ਬਲਵੰਡਾ ॥	The Ninth Day: The Name is the supreme almighty Master of the nine masters of Yoga, the nine realms of the earth, and each and every heart.
ਚਉਦਸਿ ਭਵਨ ਪਾਤਾਲ ਸਮਾਏ ॥ ਖੰਡ ਬ੍ਰਹਮੰਡ ਰਹਿਆ ਲਿਵ ਲਾਏ ॥੧੮॥	He remains lovingly focused on God, who is permeating the fourteen worlds, the nether regions of the underworld, the galaxies and solar systems. ||18||
ਮਮਤਾ ਜਾਲ ਤੇ ਰਹੈ ਉਦਾਸਾ ॥ ਪ੍ਰਣਵਤਿ ਨਾਨਕ ਹਮ ਤਾ ਕੇ ਦਾਸਾ ॥੨੦॥੧॥	Prays Nanak, I am the slave of that one, who remains detached amidst the traps of attachment. ||20||1||
ਵਰਤੁ ਨੇਮੁ ਨਿਤਾਪ੍ਰਤਿ ਪੂਜਾ ॥ ਬਿਨੁ ਬੂਝੇ ਸਭੁ ਭਾਉ ਹੈ ਦੂਜਾ ॥੭॥	Without genuine understanding, all fasts, religious rituals and daily worship services lead only to the love of duality. ||7||
ਜੋ ਜਨੁ ਕਰੈ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗੋਪਾਲ ॥ ਤਿਸ ਕਉ ਪੋਹਿ ਨ ਸਕੈ ਜਮਕਾਲੁ ॥	The Messenger of Death cannot even touch that humble being, who sings the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises.
ਜਗ ਮਹਿ ਆਇਆ ਸੋ ਪਰਵਾਣੁ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਅਪਨਾ ਖਸਮੁ ਪਛਾਣੁ ॥੨॥	The Gurmukh realizes his Lord and Master; his coming into this world is approved. ||2||
ਧਨੁ ਸੋਹਾਗਨਿ ਮਹਾ ਪਵੀਤ ॥ ਤਪੇ ਤਪੀਸਰ ਡੋਲੈ ਚੀਤ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥	So praise this bride, which can shake the consciousness of even the most dedicated ascetics and sages. ||1||Pause||
ਸੋ ਸੇਵਕਿ ਰਾਮ ਪਿਆਰੀ ॥ ਜੋ ਗੁਰ ਸਬਦੀ ਬੀਚਾਰੀ ॥੧॥	That humble servant who contemplates the Word of the Guru's Shabad, is very dear to the Lord. ||1||
ਜੇ ਕੋ ਅਪਨੇ ਠਾਕੁਰ ਭਾਵੈ ॥ ਕੋਟਿ ਮਧਿ ਏਹੁ ਕੀਰਤਨੁ ਗਾਵੈ ॥	If anyone, out of millions of people, becomes pleasing to his Lord and Master, he sings the Lord's Praises in this way.
ਸੂਖ ਸਹਜ ਦਇਆ ਕਾ ਪੋਤਾ ॥ ਹਰਿ ਭਗਤਾ ਹਵਾਲੈ ਹੋਤਾ ॥੧॥	The Lord entrusts the treasures of peace, intuition and kindness to His devotees. ||1||
ਜਿਸ ਕੈ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹਾਥੁ ਗੁਰੁ ਧਰੈ ॥ ਸੋ ਦਾਸੁ ਅਦੇਸਾ ਕਾਹੇ ਕਰੈ ॥	Why should His slave feel any anxiety? The Guru places His hand upon my forehead.
ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਜਿਸੁ ਦੇਵੈ ਨਾਉ ॥ ਨਾਨਕ ਤਾ ਕੈ ਬਲਿ ਬਲਿ ਜਾਉ ॥੮॥੩॥	Nanak is a sacrifice, a sacrifice to those who are blessed by His Grace to receive His Name. ||8||3||
ਰੋਵੈ ਦਹਸਿਰੁ ਲੰਕ ਗਵਾਇ ॥ ਜਿਨਿ ਸੀਤਾ ਆਦੀ ਡਉਰੂ ਵਾਇ ॥	The ten-headed Raawan, who stole away Sita with the beat of his tambourine, wept when he lost Sri Lanka.
ਰੋਵਹਿ ਪਾਂਡਵ ਭਏ ਮਜੂਰ ॥ ਜਿਨ ਕੈ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਰਹਤ ਹਦੂਰਿ ॥	The Paandavas once lived in the Presence of the Lord; they were made slaves, and wept.
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਿਫਤੀ ਲਾਏ ॥ ਗੁਰਮੁਖਿ ਵਿਰਲੇ ਕਿਸੈ ਬੁਝਾਏ ॥	Rare is that one, who as Gurmukh, understands, and whom the True Lord links to His Praise.
ਕਾਇਆ ਕੋਟੁ ਗੜੈ ਮਹਿ ਰਾਜਾ ॥ ਨੇਬ ਖਵਾਸ ਭਲਾ ਦਰਵਾਜਾ ॥	In the strong fortress of the body with its beautiful doors, is the king, with his special assistants and ministers.
ਜਿਸ ਨੋ ਨਦਰਿ ਕਰੇ ਸੋ ਪਾਏ ॥ ਸਾਚਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਆਏ ॥	The True Word of the Shabad comes to dwell in the mind, when the Lord bestows His Glance of Grace.
ਪਾਤਾਲ ਪੁਰੀਆ ਲੋਅ ਆਕਾਰਾ ॥ ਤਿਸੁ ਵਿਚਿ ਵਰਤੈ ਹੁਕਮੁ ਕਰਾਰਾ ॥	Your Almighty Command prevails throughout the nether worlds, realms and worlds of form.
ਜਾ ਕਉ ਰਾਖੈ ਹਰਿ ਰਾਖਣਹਾਰਾ ॥ ਤਾ ਕਉ ਕੋਇ ਨ ਸਾਕਸਿ ਮਾਰਾ ॥	No one can kill anyone who is saved by the Savior Lord.
ਗੁਰ ਕਾ ਸਬਦੁ ਵਸੈ ਮਨਿ ਜਾ ਕੈ ॥ ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਭ੍ਰਮੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਭਾਗੈ ॥	Pain, sorrow and doubt run away from that one, within whose mind the Word of the Guru's Shabad abides.
ਬੇ ਦਸ ਮਾਹ ਰੁਤੀ ਥਿਤੀ ਵਾਰ ਭਲੇ ॥ ਘੜੀ ਮੂਰਤ ਪਲ ਸਾਚੇ ਆਏ ਸਹਜਿ ਮਿਲੇ ॥	The twelve months, the seasons, the weeks, the days, the hours, the minutes and the seconds are all sublime, when the True Lord comes and meets her with natural ease.
ਕਹਿ ਕਬੀਰ ਤੇ ਜਨ ਪਰਵਾਨ ॥ ਨਿਰਮਲ ਤੇ ਜੋ ਰਾਮਹਿ ਜਾਨ ॥੬॥੩॥	Says Kabeer, those humble beings are approved and pure, who know the Lord. ||6||3||
ਦੂਧੁ ਕਟੋਰੈ ਗਡਵੈ ਪਾਨੀ ॥ ਕਪਲ ਗਾਇ ਨਾਮੈ ਦੁਹਿ ਆਨੀ ॥੧॥	Naam Dayv milked the brown cow, and brought a cup of milk and a jug of water to his family god. ||1||
ਏਕੁ ਭਗਤੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਹਿਰਦੇ ਬਸੈ ॥ ਨਾਮੇ ਦੇਖਿ ਨਰਾਇਨੁ ਹਸੈ ॥੩॥	The Lord looked upon Naam Dayv and smiled. ""This one devotee abides within my heart.""||3||
ਗੁਰ ਮਿਲੇ ਹਰਿ ਪਾਏ ॥ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਸਤਕਿ ਹੈ ਲੇਖਾ ॥	One who has such destiny written on his forehead, shall meet with the Guru and find the Lord.
ਬਿਨੁ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਜੋ ਜਪੈ ਹਿਆਇ ॥ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਣੈ ਕੈਸਾ ਨਾਉ ॥੨॥	Who knows what sort of Name is chanted, in the heart, without the tongue? ||2||
ਊਡਾਂ ਊਡਿ ਚੜਾਂ ਅਸਮਾਨਿ ॥ ਸਾਹਿਬ ਸੰਮ੍ਰਿਥ ਤੇਰੈ ਤਾਣਿ ॥	O my All-powerful Lord and Master, by Your power, I fly and soar, and ascend to the heavens.
ਸਰਬ ਕਲਾ ਸੋਈ ਪਰਬੀਨ ॥ ਨਾਮ ਮੰਤ੍ਰੁ ਜਾ ਕਉ ਗੁਰਿ ਦੀਨ ॥੩॥	Those whom the Guru blesses with the Mantra of the Naam are wise, and blessed with all powers,. ||3||
ਗੁਰ ਕੀ ਬਾਣੀ ਜਿਸੁ ਮਨਿ ਵਸੈ ॥ ਦੂਖੁ ਦਰਦੁ ਸਭੁ ਤਾ ਕਾ ਨਸੈ ॥੧॥	All pains and afflictions run away from those, whose minds are filled with the Word of the Guru's Bani. ||1||
ਏਕ ਕ੍ਰਿਸ੍ਨੰ ਤ ਸਰਬ ਦੇਵਾ ਦੇਵ ਦੇਵਾ ਤ ਆਤਮਹ ॥ ਆਤਮੰ ਸ੍ਰੀ ਬਾਸ੍ਵਦੇਵਸੵ ਜੇ ਕੋਈ ਜਾਨਸਿ ਭੇਵ ॥	The One Lord is the Divinity of all divinities. He is the Divinity of the soul.
ਪਰਮਾਣੋ ਪਰਜੰਤ ਆਕਾਸਹ ਦੀਪ ਲੋਅ ਸਿਖੰਡਣਹ ॥ ਗਛੇਣ ਨੈਣ ਭਾਰੇਣ ਨਾਨਕ ਬਿਨਾ ਸਾਧੂ ਨ ਸਿਧੵਤੇ ॥੨॥	Even if the mortal could reduce himself to the size of an atom, and shoot through the ethers, worlds and realms in the blink of an eye, O Nanak, without the Holy Saint, he shall not be saved. ||2||
