fluent-bit user is deleted when package is uninstalled

I can't tell from researching if this is desired behavior, but after a dpkg --remove fluent-bit, the /var/log/fluent-bit directory and child files have an owner that shows a number (signifying the fluent-bit user has been deleted). Re-installing restores the directory to the correct state, but it looks strange in an ls -l.
