might works like this:
/backup command add [custom id] [cmd/sh command]
add a command

/backup command remove [custom id]
remove a command

/backup now [custom id]
run a command

or any thing else

*It's better to be able to set the whitelist of who can use the "/backup command" command. It is extremely risky to allow all players or operators to control the server computer.

I think this is a good idea, I probably won't get to this anytime soon. However, I did take note at your comment at the end and added a sort-of fix for it in #6. You can now set the permission level required for 4 different levels/parts of the backup command including the /backup command command. If you want it disabled to all just set it to 5.

This mod is still not polished for a server, but hopefully this helps some.
