API Image upload - Google book image - seatable thumbnail generation fails

can't get seatable to properly generate thumbnail from url uploaded (only via API) from url like this:
no issue if the same url is used via web browser, or if I use a normal jpg, png, other file url.
just adding some context, this is tested using n8n with the seatable node.
