Metrics not being received after bumping appsignal

Hi there,

I've encountered a problem that caused scout to stop logging metrics in a rails api after bumping puma from 5.2.1 to 5.2.2. I'll try to replicate this with a test project, just reporting meanwhile.

After further investigation, this issue was actually as a result of bumping the appsignal gem from 2.11.8 to 3.0.0.
Not sure if it's worth investigation on your end 🤷🏾

Rails version: 6.0.3.5
Scout version: 4.0.4
