packet loss after 8-10 targets

ksalman opened this issue · comments

It seems fping starts reporting timeouts if there are more than 8-10 targets, and it progressively gets worse after that. Is this some kind of limitation I am seeing?

The latter targets are fine if I just test against those

This is quite an aggressive network use, I would suggest you consider if this is really necessary. Please consider using less aggressive settings for network tests.

That said, I have tested your command line once, and it did work fine for me:

Your network or ISP might impose a rate limit on ICMP. I would suggest that you use less aggressive settings.

I do not think that this is an fping bug.

Ok, thanks. I didn't think it was a fping bug. A limit imposed by ISP makes sense.
