Question about licensing

I have an app that uses Wireguard and I also added openvpn, but I used ics-openvpn as a sub-library within my app. Just to connect and disconnect, is this allowed for me or do I have to remove it?
As long as the licenses are compatible and your whole app is licensed under the GPL2/GPL3 and is open-sourced that is not a problem.
