Code editor is read-only (kind of)

Keyboard shortcuts don't work:
- Comment toggle
- Ctrl + X
- Warning about read-only comes up
Workaround
- Press F1 to open the command palette
- Commands like comment toggle from palette work.
- Cut and Copy can be done by right-clicking the mouse.
