Fixed Header got problem

Hi,
I tried to apply in my project but I got the issue:
TypeError: this.$el is undefined...this.$el.find('#backgrid-container')

I added your code into var Grid = Backgrid.Grid = Backbone.View.extend({})

I want to apply it into http://techwuppet.com/backgrid_poc_demo/

Please help me to fix it.
