Webm files don't support scrubbing and start from the beginning when screen is turned off and on

I've been trying to do a Movie Night in GMOD using the Media Player, and I've had to use movies as WEBM files for copyright reasons. However, the timepoint isn't server side, so that means that you can't jump ahead or behind when playing it. It's really annoying, since the when a file skips back we have to watch a big part of the film again.
