how to give more priority to thirdparty camera on android device

Hi .I am an android developer and i want to develop an app that when i connect a thirdparty camera to android device tha device shuld take it a main camera. for exmple if I get a video call , tha camer view should taken from that thirdparty camera. Is this possible and can give any suggession?
