CoverArtProxy aims to resolve these problems by passing as the iTunes cover server and allows you to use your own artwork files.
mitmproxy 4.0 (other versions may work) or
mitmdump installed. Have a directory ready that contains the following structure:
Artist/Album/image. Images may be either in JPEG, GIF or PNG formats. You also need to have a Network location “CoverArtProxy” ready that configures HTTP and HTTPS proxies to localhost, port 8080.

run.shagain with a
$PWDthat points to your artworks dir (see above).
- Have iTunes download cover artwork and enjoy.
You can choose to use
mitmproxy instead of
mitmdump by exporting its path to
CoverArtProxy is freely distributable under the terms of an MIT-style license.
