How to specify Excerpt

Hi, thanks for the great tool. I have a question on how to specify the excerpt. The result seems always to give an empty excerpt. Is there a way to specify excerpt rule say, number of words?

Thanks, silly me. I missed the frontmatter opts. I overload with function to set excerpt: true for gray-matter.
