Nice job on the online editor. It must have taken a lot of work. :) However I have noticed this specific file (also in github) seems to be missing almost all of the notes in the various tracks: https://github.com/martinpiper/C64Public/blob/master/MusicStudio2/moz_k299.mid
It seems to be because the tracks are not mapping to instruments? Ideally when such a file is imported it would be good if the interface alerted the user and offered some approximate name matches for each of the missing mappings. The user would then have the option of accepting or modifying the chosen instrument names before proceeding.
