Please consider adding the merge option

My apologies if my understanding is not clear.
I would like to have the option to merge channels.json and users.json, channels.json is probably respaced, so only the current channels are stored in channels.json.
I would like to have the option to merge channels.json when I run it in --merge mode.

Here's an example:.
Dump on January 1, 1970
channel A disappears on January 2, 1970
Dump on January 3, 1970
I want channel A to remain in channels.json after the dump on Jan 3, 1970.

And what if the channel name is changed?

Please consider this.

Hi @aijkl, thank you for the suggestion, I think i got the idea. There will be a resume logic implemented soon-ish (as described here #174), can probably accommodate for the name changes as well.
