SD card

in this tuto there is an exemple of stm32f769-DISCO. when i take a look in this exemple i found that presence of sd card is important in this exepmle but i didn't understand exactly his role . i m working on nucleoF767ZI which doesn't have sd card port so can i use its flash memory insteed of the sd card ?
Sorry for the late reply. The SD-Card is used to store persistent data, such as IP settings. You can run the stack without persistent storage however it is needed to pass certification testing.
