Unable to click on Scan button

Hi,
I know this app is probably dead by now but I'll give it a try and ask question.
On MacBook pro in Sierra I have Scan button greyed out (like on attached screenshot).
Scanner was added without problems (can also be seen on screenshot). The same is on Windows Server 2012 R2 which I am using as management computer.
SwingSane version: 0.2 (built: 02-18-2015 03:41)
macOS Version: 10.12.4 (16E195)
Java Version: 8 Update 121 (build 1.8.0_121-b13)

Today I woke up started mac and voila. Scan button is clickable.
