Hello,
After seeing the demo work I tried to connect the script to a local copy of Leaflet. I used the current stable release (version 1.4.0) and found that it doesn't work. If I replace the style sheet from version 1.4.0 with the linked style sheet from the example (so script version 1.4.0 combined with style sheet version 1.0.3) it works again.
I hope this is a small thing, but I have not had the time to check what the differences are.

What sort of error are you getting? I just tried updating things locally and it worked fine.
