Looking for an example of implementation

It is bit confusing on what values need to be passed and how to evaluate these without any example. I am particularly confused with usage of lambdas, I am not sure what needs to be passed and what is valid.
If you have any example that is not yet published in github, can you please publish it ?
An example is already emmbedded in grid_forecast_trmf.m file.
