Audio interface doesn't reconnect after turning it off and on

Hi, I'm using qpwgraph 0.3.9 on Ubuntu 23.04 using a patchbay I created. qpwgraph boots automatically this patchbay when I boot my system and the audio interface works as soon as it's turned on. All good.
However, if I turn the audio interface off while keeping my system on (i.e. because I know I'm not going to need it during many hours) and then I turned the audio interface later...
EXPECTED
The patchbay is applied every time the audio interface is reconnected, just like the first time it is turned on.
ACTUALLY
The patchbay doesn't respond when the audio interface is connected again. If I reboot my system while leaving the audio interface on, then everything is fine.
Rebooting is boring and takes time. Probably there is a way to restart things and get the audio interface recognized without rebooting, but I don't know how to do this. In any case, ideally the audio interface would be just recognized by qpwgraph every time it connects to the system, not only the first time.
please, don't use any qpwgraph version prior to v0.5.1
ps. after upgrade you'll probably need to redo a new patchbay as the old ones before v0.5.x are now nonfunctional;
Ok, thank you for the "hint". :) I guess I'm using whatever version is packaged for Ubuntu. I'll check how to install a newer version.
