Consolidate various active classes into just active

🔧 Enhancement Request
Right now we have various classes such as drawer--active and modal--active to indicate an active state. After discussion, these separate classes should be removed and just use the active class.
active is considered a concept and it should be the same to toggle it across out components.
Who is asking for the feature?

Not that it matters, this issue has my steadfast approval. On a more serious note, I feel like this should be a higher priority than a p3.
