Notch/Dynamic Island covering left side when using a controller for DS

While using a controller on the DS emulator in full-screen mode, the notch on the left-hand side of the screen covers a significant portion of the game. This makes it difficult to play games that have text, especially those that appear on the top screen. Unfortunately, since there is no way to apply skins with a controller, I am unable to fix this manually. This issue appears to be limited to the DS emulator, as all other emulators do not stretch to the edge of the screen. I attempted to search on Github to see if anyone else had reported this issue, but I was unable to find anyone posting about it. I second this, I noticed that when using my backbone controller, my skins are ignored. The island takes up part of the top screen making certain UI/elements unreadable. Some customization options to either switch sides or add controller skins would be nice
