Building the Github project using the provided Python steps shows more detections:

Because it is bundled with a tool that bundles the python scripts into an exe that is also commonly used by lazy malware devs. As you can see, even when you build it, it also gets reported and you are free to read the actual source code and check it.
There is no issue here. You really could have discussed this on the discord with Spyci first instead of polluting the GitHub with unnecessary issues.
