Follow two column grid for mushroom style in sections layout

In the new experimental sections layout, both tile cards and mushroom cards are displayed in a 2 column grid. The custom timer card currently shows in a single (wide) column. It would be nice if the timer card also follows the 2 column grid. See screenshot for an example.
The current and temporary workaround (for display purposes only) is to use a grid or horizontal stack card, but this way individual entities cannot be moved around separately.
Ah I'm not surprised. I remember last time I updated this card with changes in the mushroom cards, they added some new code to handle layout within the sections layout.
This is on my radar, but I've been too busy lately to make the card work with sections. Updating the card to fit will be low priority for me as long as sections is in beta. However, I'll mark this as help wanted in case anyone wants to submit a PR in the meantime.
