I originally filed this issue here (see for more details), and was directed to Github support. Attempting to file a ticket with them then gave me enough info that it has to come from someone with admin on the repo. It looks like a very quick process, though I know the repo is looking for a new maintainer
TL;DR to correct:
- Visit the github support page - link
- select appropriate options until you are able to type in "dependency graph resolves to wrong repo"
- a button for a virtual assistant will show up
- going through that prompt should allow you to resolve the missing attribution in the dependency graph
