[Bug]: Selecting Part Type UI Behaviour Akward

Describe the bug and the steps to reproduce it
When adding a new inventory item and selecting the 'Part Type' - this works fine if using the mouse alone, but if you start to type the name (e.g. 'cer' to find 'ceramic capacitor') and then click on the right result; it does select, but does not complete the text field until you click away. The behaviour is a bit awkward and doesn't feel quite right.
