Sum of baselines could be dedispersed and searched as for baselines. That could reproduce the search but at a lower sensitivity that is less likely to suffer from issues with super intense bursts.

Alternatively, the incoherent baseline data could be an anticoincidence signal since it might be more subject to RFI.
