demonstrate that fftw and cuda return identical results

Some indication that small (suboptimal) grids produce very different results.
Also need to check that cuda results can be reproduced by fftw.
We now run fftw/cpu and cuda/gpu searches and reproduce all of them on cpu. So far, so good.
