redoing realtime analysis gets different flags

Sometimes we want to stop the controller, grab the data from the cluster, and redo the analysis for debugging.
However, it seems that this can result in the online flags being applied differently. Either that, or taking the realfast SDM while in the realtime environment will get the wrong flags. Some part of the conditional check for "online" versus "offline" flags isn't quite right.
