A few years back, we copied the go-metrics into go-ethereum. Recently, I've done a major refactoring: ethereum/go-ethereum#28035 .
Just wondering if there is any interest in getting these changes ported back upstream? If this project is abandoned, I won't bother, but if it's not and there's interest, I don't mind doing the same changes on this codebase too.
