How to handle inertial scrolling with trackpads?

Hi! Love the slider.
I'm trying to implement trackpad scrolling support using your wheel example.
However, this behaves pretty badly on a Mac trackpad (which fires a lot of inertial scroll events) when rubberband is enabled. The slider scrolls out into the distance, slowing down slowly. See video.
It would be nice if there was a 'limit' to the rubberband length or something similar. Is there a good way to do this or example?
