- Find a time that works for the facilitator (will often involve discussions with them). Make sure it doesn't conflict with existing clubs.
- Add the event to the R4DS Events calendar (make sure it's weekly).

- Delete all choices for that book from the bookclubber spreadsheet.
- Post in channel about the time. See bookclub-r4ds for the latest version. Tag the people who chose that time.
- Create a sign-up spreadsheet.
- Create a YouTube playlist.
- Set up or update the repo.
- Create a Zoom meeting.
- Set up a Zoom reminder for 10 minutes before the meeting each week. Include start date so hopefully people aren't confused if it posts early.
- Share the announcement to book_club-announce.
