QGIS Enhancement: JASP wants to integrate qgis_process from R to integrate QGIS mapping functionality
JASP is a serious R based, open source SPSS contender, see https://jasp-stats.org
What's in it for QGIS?
Even wider adoption and recognition also outside of geosciences. Wider adoption of using maps for science.
What's in it for QGIS-users?
A state of the art set of statistical analysis available to analyze spatial data from within JASP.
Details / Discussion:
This could be done via a module in JASP. Since both programs use R & Qt, this may not be as hard, as it sounds. First discussion startet here: jasp-stats/jasp-issues#558
Feel free to chime in there, if interested and if you have tips etc. to help with this!

Better suited for a normal enhancement request on the main QGIS tracker(?)
@gioman
Sure, if you think so? But why the question mark? Are you unsure? What should I infer from this ambivalence? :D
Nevertheless, thx for the fast response!
@tomtomme I used the "?" because who am I to decide after all? :) Anyway QEPs are usually accompanied by technical details about how to implement the changes, a timeline, etc. This seemed me more like a "this would be cool" thing, but I may be wrong.
@gioman
thx for the hint. Will try it there.
