Address License and Authors

Authors, contributors, and license are something that should be considered before making any release with this name. The choices are somewhat muddied by the fact that this has come about from two different previous repositories, the history of which is included in the repository.
@lbjay : Do you have any guidance for how these files should be updated? I haven't done much on this repository yet, so I'm almost hesitant to put my name on it yet. I'm not sure who the licensor should be changed to, but somehow the one that's currently there doesn't seem appropriate.
