crashes when clicking configuration wizard

as the title suggests, when i click on the configuration wizard the app crashes, its still running in task manager but lights are unresponsive, reinstalling seems to fix this for awhile then it starts doing it again.
If it's still seen in TaskManager then it's not actually crashed. The configuration wizard waits for the main instance to quit before starting, apparently that doesn't work correctly. Could you turn on logging and share your log files?
